However the same declaration has not yet been made on the UK register. It CANNOT be listed on Amazon due to the EU issue - Amazon seem to be taking their lead from the EU. From Griffonia Seed 1600mg (Whole Seed Equivalent from Extract per daily dose). 

5-HTP stands for 5-hydroxytryptophan - an amino acid found naturally in small amounts in protein rich foods such as turkey. 5-HTP is converted into serotonin in the human body. 

In our food supplement 5-HTP comes from Griffonia Seed Extract, a West African plant which contains it naturally. It is made synthetically which many other 5HTP supplements are. These should actually not be on the UK/EU market. 

Manufactured to the GMP code of practice.
